　　李·佩斯出演美国传奇汽车公司德劳瑞恩的创始人——天才汽车设计师约翰·德劳瑞恩，影片设定在1980年代，德劳瑞恩创建还没几年，正在崛起，聚焦约翰和苏戴奇斯饰演的Jim Hoffman的关系。Hoffman看似有趣迷人，其实他是一名前诈骗犯，现在为FBI工作，他来约翰这里当卧底，想要控告其贩毒。两人建立的一段有趣的bromance也很快急转直下，行差踏错。
